The Khmers Kampuchea-Krom Federation (KKF) today announces the re-launch of its Website at http://www.khmerkrom.org. The primary focus of the Website is to make Vietnam accountable for its brutal human rights abuses towards the indigenous Khmer Krom people of South Vietnam. The Khmer Krom people have faced systematic human rights abuses, genocide, and forced assimilation by successive Vietnamese Government. The KKF hopes this Website will bring the world’s attention to the sufferings of the Khmer Krom people. The sufferings that the Khmer Kroms have faced are aligned with those of the people of Tibet. BACKGROUND The Khmers Kampuchea-Krom Federation (KKF) is the legitimate organization representing over eight million Khmer Krom people currently living in Vietnam and around the world. KKF uses peaceful measures and international laws to seek freedom, justice, and the right to self determination for the Khmer Krom people who are currently living in South Vietnam. KKF is a member of the Unpresented Nations and People Organization (UNPO) http://www.unpo.org, a member of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, and a member of the International Dragon Boat Federation http://www.idbf.org .
